Oversight Committee The Oversight Committee has the responsibility for several important activities throughout the year, including:
- Perform an annual audit of the financial records of the Corporation, or more frequently if deemed prudent.
- Select a committee member to work with Treasurer to ensure financial duties are performed properly;
- Review and update the strategic plan for the Corporation on an annual basis and present recommendations for the strategic plan to the Board of Directors;
- Review the Bylaws at least once a year.
- Present a slate for the election of the Board
of Directors at the annual meeting.
Not all committee members must participate in all the duties.

Membership Committee The Membership Committee will:
- Process all applications for membership;
- Actively solicit new and renewing members for the theatre;
- Solicit and keep record of season ticket holders (who are also members if they have completed a
membership application);
- Develop and maintain a database of volunteers and their information;
- Work closely with all Board members and other Committee Chairs to develop a complete list of
volunteer needs
- Help in securing people to volunteer in all aspects of the theatre; and
- Work to ensure that all volunteers receive
support and recognition for their services.
Not all committee members must participate in all the duties.

Publicity Committee The Publicity Committee is responsible for:
- Overseeing the production, publishing, and mailing of postcards, flyers and special mass mail-outs to
the members and mailing lists;
- Overseeing the production of the season brochure for the regular season productions;
- Ensuring that Corporation activities are well represented in local media;
- Working with the Board of Directors and other committee Chairs to coordinate any advertising and
special notices; and
- Working with the Board of Directors and other
committee Chairs to ensure a positive image of the theatre is presented
to the general public.
Not all committee members must participate in all the duties.

Development Committee The Development Committee is responsible for:
- Actively seeking business sponsors;
- Fundraising activities, including the silent auction at the annual summer fundraiser;
- Assisting with any advertising sales; and
- Researching and writing grant applications.
Not all committee members must participate in all the duties.

House Management/Facilities Committee The House Management/Facilities is responsible for maintenance and appearance. The committee will:
- Ensure the theatre is cleaned and ready for any performances or special events;
- Provide for the taking and confirming of reservations for each theatre production;
- Provide for the production of tickets for each regular season and summer show production;
- Ensure the box office and concessions are staffed for each production;
- Ensure the concession stand is stocked with snacks, beverages, etc., for each production;
- Be accountable for all funds/receipts that are brought in at the box office and/or through ticket and
concession sales; and
- Ensure that detailed records are kept of all
ticket and concession sales and provided to the Treasurer.
Not all committee members must participate in all the duties. Free admittance to all events is granted.

Production Committee The Production Committee will:
- Receive suggestions/scripts for theatrical productions for the regular season and the summer show
from members, potential directors, and potential assistant directors;
- Read the scripts and select the theatrical productions for the regular season and the summer show to be recommended to the Board of Directors for approval (A person wishing to direct is not eligible to serve
in the capacity of play reading and play selection);
- Select the Director for each production to be recommended to the Board of Directors for approval
(specific procedures are defined in the WOBCP Standard Operating Procedures);
- Present all recommendations for the upcoming season to the Board of Directors at least one month prior to the annual membership meeting (so the Board has time to vote on any recommendations before the annual membership meeting);
- Produce the programs for each regular season and summer show production; and
- Select a committee member to act as Producer
for each regular season and summer show production (a different
committee member may serve as Producer for each show).

Special Events Committee The Special Events Committee will coordinate and/or oversee activities outside the regular season and summer show productions. The duties of the committee include:
- Produce the newsletter for the Corporation;
- Coordinate and oversee special events produced by the Corporation that will be held to promote arts or cultural activities in the community, including, but not limited to: staged readings, monologues,
comedian night, karaoke contest, improv contest, local playwright competition, scholarship
opportunities for local students;
- Coordinate and oversee any outside users of the facility; and
- Provide information about any potential
activity or outside user of the facility to the Board of Directors for
approval before moving ahead with the activity.
